The Frambor area in Žilina, once rich in natural and historical features, had turned into a large illegal landfill before volunteers began its restoration in 2018. Through extensive cleanup and revitalization efforts, including waste removal, planting greenery, and restoring waterways, the site has been transformed into valuable urban green space. Today, it continues to evolve as a community and ecological project, combining nature restoration with environmental art and education.
